该泵在核电站事故工况时，使从安全壳的放射性物质泄漏尽可能地减少。此时，该泵将向安全壳喷淋硼酸，并消除分裂反应产生的污染物质。

 

Containment Spray Pump (CSP)

      This pump has the role of minimizing the leakage of redioactive material from the containment vessel at the plant emergency condition. At such condition, this pump sprays boric acid water into the vessel and eliminate contamination of the fissionable material.
